SpongeBob is crying when he notices that Sandy will be returning from a convention in Texas and then Patrick starts crying. He confuses Sandy with his mother and Squidward until SpongeBob corrects him. They then decide to host a party for Sandy in her treedome and they make it a great party. When Sandy appears, she starts itching and she starts messing up the party. She tells SpongeBob and Patrick that she has a flea and she goes into her suitcase and puts on a flea collar.

“Rise and Shine” starts off with SpongeBob waking up and wondering what Patrick does in the morning. Patrick wakes up by his alarm clock and thinks that the lamp post is the thing that is ringing. After he does that, he goes into the kitchen where he tries to figure out how to get food out of a can. After he bangs his head a few times, he throws it to the wall and gets the food and goes to watch TV. He goes into the TV room and starts to eat. He eats his alarm clock and and starts getting thrown around his house until his rock opens and he starts a new day.

SpongeBob discovers that his breakfast cereal has an offer for a free toy. Once he responds to the offer, he must wait patiently for the toy to arrive. SpongeBob is getting impatient, so he sets up camp right next to his mailbox, determined to be present when the mailman shows up with his treasure. He gets frustrated when Sandy and Gary distract him with feeding and karate, but eventually the toy arrives and Patrick “breaks” it, leaving SpongeBob furious. However, Squidward shows him later that its head, arms, and legs are supposed to spring off, and reattaches them.

Patrick gets an offer to write a song, but he can’t remember anything. When he wrote his first poem, he got hit by dodgeballs! It seems like Patrick had made a song, but it is horrible and they can’t play it on the radio station. So Patrick puts the song up on the antenna, and it is so bad, it starts an angry mob!
