In this episode, Mr. Krabs creates a “promotion” to the Krusty Krab by selling Viking Sized Drinks (They are all the same size). This gets SpongeBob interested in Vikings. Then SpongeBob sends a letter to the vikings, then a garbageman (who is a viking) delivers the letter to the Head Viking which comes to the Krusty Krab and kidnaps SpongeBob and Squidward.

SpongeBob and Patrick plan to go to the beach for the entire day, taking the bus. After being an annoyance, they play with a frisbee while causing trouble including the destruction of the life guard tower. The life guard is angry at SpongeBob and Patrick, suggesting they play in the sand. The duo eventually decide to build sand castles.
