Squidward is playing his clarinet when Spongebob goes outside. He thinks Squidward went to a restaurant called Mario’s. Suddenly, Squidward notices two construction workers putting up a billboard. Thinking Squidward’s music is flatulence, Spongebob becomes noisy to cover it up, until Squidward alerts him to stop. Getting mad at the billboard workers, he then discovers the Bikini Bottom Symphony Orchestra is holding a competition for an original score. Following a series of events starting with Patrick breaking his butt, Squidward tries not to get distracted by Spongebob’s home doctoring. After turning in his score, he finds that he wrote down all of Spongebob’s doctoring. The audience accknowledges Spongebob and Patrick and Fred leads the applause toward Squidward.

It’s a normal day at the Krusty Krab when suddenly Plankton is seen in a wrecking ball machine. Spongebob and Mr. Krabs thought it was going to hit them but instead it hit the Chum Bucket instead. Then a huge coliseum replaces it. Since it’s free, everyone goes there and the Krusty Krab is empty. So they decided to go there to see what’s there. In the Coliseum, Plankton gets a lion and a gladiator but it turns out to be Patrick. Spongebob, suprised about this, doesn’t want him to get hurt so he jumps down and tries to save him. The crowd gets mad because they want to see body parts. Plankton tries to stop it but giving them Chum Sticks. But since it’s bad, everyone begins leaving but he closes the gate and forces them to watch. Meanwhile, Spongebob and Patrick still try to escape from the lion. When Patrick’s food necklace gets knocked out, it turns out that the lions likes the food and stopped chasing them. Plankton gets angry and takes the food but the lion gets furious and chases him out of the coliseum. Back at the Krusty Krab, Mr. Krabs raise the cost of a Krabby Patty to 10 dollars. If they refuse, then the lion will get them. Then they all enjoy a laugh but unlike most episodes, they slowly stop and walk away.
