When SpongeBob and Patrick think they’ve killed Squidward because a shell hit Squidward’s latest work of art, which happens to be a wax replica of himself. When the real Squidward appears, he is covered in powder, causing SpongeBob and Patrick to think he is a ghost. Later, SpongeBob finds a comic book saying he should put Squidward to rest. Squidward says no, so they send him to dry land.

Gary has to take a bath but he doesn’t want to enter the tub. SpongeBob keeps trying and trying to get Gary in the bath but nothing will work. SpongeBob absorbs the bathwater and chases Gary around, trying to wash him, but eventually gets stuck on a tree. Spongebob falls off and gets dirty himself, and Gary makes him take a bath.

After accidentally getting Squidward’s Fancy Living Digest in the mail, SpongeBob and Patrick want to live fancy too. They decide they will sell candy bars. People keep turning them down so they lie about the candy. People start to buy the candy, but when a chocolate maniac catches them he asks for all their chocolate and SpongeBob and Patrick become flattered. With all the money they have they decide to rent out the local fancy restaurant, aptly named ‘Fancy!’.
