October 18th, 2008Season 1SpongeBob plays harmless April Fool’s jokes on everyone (”You asked for a couple of ice cubes, and I only put in one!”), but Squidward, annoyed as usual, plays one very mean joke on SpongeBob. After SpongBob runs away crying from Squidward, everyone leaves angrily because Squidward hurt his feelings. Spuidward tries to apologize SpongeBob, but his odd face changes, which makes him harder to say “Sorry”, until he finds out that he became fooled by everyone.

While at the Fry Cook Museum, SpongeBob pulls a legendary spatula out of a bucket of grease. The legend states “whoever pulls the spatula out will be Neptune’s servant”. Neptune and SpongeBob enter a cooking contest to see who can make 1,000 Krabby Patties first. Neptune wins, but SpongeBob’s patty was made with love so his is better than all of Neptune’s. Neptune is forced by the spectators to concede. However, SpongeBob does not want to be Neptune’s fry cook. The sponge has another plan that will help both of them, while he stays at the Krusty Krab.

SpongeBob has to write an essay with 800 words, but starts to procrastinate. He starts to dream, and thinks everybody in town knows he has the essay to write.

Patrick’s parents come on Starfish Day. He gets SpongeBob to act dumb so his parents will think he is smart. His parents fall for the trick, but after Patrick forgets about the plan, SpongeBob gets angry and tries to convince Patrick’s parents that he is smart after all. Patrick’s parents don’t believe him, and think that Patrick taught Spongebob how to speak in a matter of minutes. Spongebob gives up and runs to his house. Patrick then realizes these parents are not his true parents. Two other starfish come to the door who reveal themselves to be the parents, and the fake ones leave.

The ancestors of SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward, named SpongeGar, Patar, and Squog respectively, discover fire (or, as they call it, “fwee-fwee”). In Patchy’s world, the future and the past collide in a Stone Age home as he and Potty argue which era is better.
